Abby Brooks

I am working towards my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling program at Governors State University. I have experience working in the daycare field for seven years as well as working with at-risk youth from ages ten to seventeen and youth that are ward of the state with DCFS. I also have experience with addiction and worked as a Medication Assisted Treatment Counselor. With these experiences I have developed ability to work with clients who may need assistance with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Abuse, Addiction, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Stress Management, Grief, Anger, Relationships Issues, Family Issues, Self-Esteem Issues, Boundary Setting, Career Development, School Related Concerns, Communication issues, Conflict-Resolution, Play Therapy, and Life-Transitions.
